Kaylee was sitting in her room, listening to music. She really should learn as much as she can about earth music, especially if she's going to work at Empire Records.

Having a job? That would probably be helpful as she is broke.

Joxer knocked on the door and fidgeted a bit.

He wasn't sure how Kaylee would take the news of his new roomie.

"Hi Joxer!" Kaylee greeted cheerfully when she opened the door.

Joxer looked up and smiled. "Hi Kaylee," he said.

"How are ya?" Kaylee asked curiously.

Joxer gulped. Time to say it.

"I've got a girl as a roommate."

"Didn't you have a girl for a roommate before?"

"I've got a new one," Joxer said.

"Oh," Kaylee said quietly. "What's her name?"

"Agnes," Joxer said. "She's a witch."

"A witch? That's kinda shiny," Kaylee said. "Can she cast spells?"

"She, uhhh, might be able to change people into frogs," Joxer gulped.

Kaylee frowned. "I hope she doesn't do that to you. I like you Joxer shaped."

"I like me Joxer shaped as well," he said. "Can't really kiss you if I'm a frog."

"Well, I could kiss you right now," Kaylee said with a grin.

"That sounds like a great idea to me," Joxer said.

Kaylee grinned and leaned in to kiss him.

Joxer leaned in to meet Kaylee with that kiss, happily. After a good long while, he pulled back.

"I should probably get back to my room, though."

"Glad you stopped by," Kaylee said sincerely.
