Room 308, Sunday Evening

Kaylee had spent most of the troll invasion hiding in her room. She would have tried to fight, but she knew she and weapons didn't mix well. She likely would have only gotten in the way or hurt.

She'd been worried about Joxer, figuring he was out there fighting trolls. She felt a little better when he showed up earlier to make sure she was okay. And he had been there ever since. She thought it was sweet that he was there to defend her if he had to.

"Really bad," Joxer said. "Though, you know, if it's in the way, I can take it off, you know."

"It's really not in the way," Kaylee assured.

"Are you sure?" Joxer asked. "I mean, I could just as easily be naked while we do this."

Kaylee just shook her head in amusement. "Do what?"

Joxer wasn't sure, himself.

"I kinda like havin' you on top of me," he said.

"I don't mind it either," Kaylee admitted.

"We should do this more often," Joxer said.

"...but maybe not on the floor."

Kaylee nodded. "Yeah, maybe not."

"So maybe we should move this somewhere more comfortable," Joxer said, hugging Kaylee tight against him.

"We could," Kaylee said, nodding. But she wasn't moving quite yet.

"Or we could just have sex right here. Naked."

Ah, Joxer.

Kaylee rolled her eyes and smacked Joxer's arm. "Now ain't a good time considerin' people are out there fightin' trolls and such."

"This makes it the perfect time," Joxer said. "In case they all die, we'll be able to repopulate the school!"

Kaylee shook her head. "You don't really think they're all gonna die, do ya?"

"I don't," Joxer said. "They're all very brave and strong. I just figured it'd be better to protect you than to just go out and attack random trolls."

"Well, I appreciate that," Kaylee said. "And I'm glad you ain't out there fightin' them. I like you all safe like."

"But you don't want me all safe and naked-like?"

Kaylee smiled at him. "I do someday when the timin' is right...when there isn't a big troll invasion."

"Oh... okay," Joxer said, trying not to look disappointed. "You're not too worried about them that you can't kiss me at least, right?"

Kaylee answered the question by kissing him.

Joxer was only the teeniest bit disappointed it wasn't a naked kiss.

But he still kissed Kaylee very thoroughly.
